Information for international visitors arriving or departing by air
Milton Keynes is the perfect destination for international visitors planning on exploring Britain. The central location means visitors can access all of the major UK cities, including those involved in the 2012 Olympic games. Milton Keynes is a perfect distance from London and within easy access of all of the London airports:

• London Luton Airport is only 25 miles from Milton Keynes,
• London Gatwick Airport is about 90 miles from Milton Keynes,
• London Stansted Airport is about 73 miles from Milton Keynes.
London Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Airport is one of the busiest international airports in the world. With over 90 airlines flying to over 180 destinations worldwide visitors to Milton Keynes are sure to find a reasonably priced flight to suit them. London Stansted Airport

Car hire from Stansted would be visitors’ most direct form of transport from the airport. Security
All UK airports have high security and when leaving the UK visitors should be aware of the security restrictions in place. All hand luggage will be scanned and visitors may be asked to remove any electrical items to be scanned separately from hand luggage.
