The gastronomy in Arzachena, as in the whole Gallura features very simple and tasty dishes. The "zuppa cuata" a thick bread and cheese pudding with meat soup, was cooked on holidays and important occasions such as weddings and other important festivals; li Chiusoni typical hand-made dumplings are eaten at any occasion but are the typical lunch of the 1st of August, “li pulilgioni”, ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and just a bit of sugar and lemon, are delicious covered by fresh tomato sauce; "li fiuritti" thick hand made noodles reminds you of the old taste of genuinely. The main courses are represented by fish; lamb; suckling pig; the coratella of goat or lamb on the spit; lu casciu furriatu,cow cheese, melted and seasoned with honey; and la mazza frissa, fresh cream cooked on a pan. Li papassini, li casgiatini, lu pani e saba, are just a few of the delicious small cakes that local people sometimes eat as breakfast. Almost always these delicious products are accompanied by excellent wines such as Moscato Dolce, a sweet sparkling white wine and a fine, delicate flavor that is slightly bitter Vermentino di Gallura, the typical white wine of the region!
