We see the race as synonym for the daily ups and downs. Everyday life poses challenges which we have to overcome. Also during the triathlon competition we will have to face challenges and keep on running until the finish line. However, if we finally make it we will just be happy and want to scream out loud “yes, I did it!”. A big part of this success also comes from the people who are always around to cheer us on.

In a friendship that has lasted for over 15 years now there have been phases where we did not see each other for a long time. Especially when starting a family, having little disagreements or when living miles apart it is not that easy to stay in close contact.
