Yes, it is! If you consider to bear one of the following characteristics, this event is for you:

What is the minimum age to participate ?

To TriStar111 Cannes in Individual : 18 years old

To TriStar55.5 Cannes in Individual : 18 years old

To TriStar111 Cannes Relay :

  • for the swimmer: 16 years old
  • for the cyclist: 18 years old
  • for the runner: 16 years old

To TriStar55.5 Cannes Relay :

  • for the swimmer: 14 years old
  • for the cyclist: 16 years old
  • for the runner: 14  years old

How many participants will start?

1000 competitors are expected at the Starting Line for the first TriStar111 Cannes.

What are the distances of TriStar111 Cannes?

As the name says, the race will cover a total distance of 111km to be done as follows: swim 1km Cycle 100km and run 10.

I’m a beginner, can I sign up for the TriStar111 Cannes?

Yes you can! Absolutely! The short distance of swim and run makes it very accessible. The bike is a little bit more challenging. The bike profile is as tough as the countryside you”ll pass by is breathtaking!

What about the bike course? Is it hard?

The bike circuit of the TriStar Cannes is technical and its profile is quite exigent. Some of the downhill can be sometimes dangerous, consequently, keep always the right side of the road and respect the regular traffic law.

How the run course?

The run course is open to public, therefore, expect a lot of cheering! The profile of the 2 loops is 2/4 flat, 1/4 uphill, 1/4 downhill.

Shall I arrive on Saturday already?

Yes, in term of registration, you must arrive in Monaco Saturday in the morning latest as athletes' registration closes at 13:00 (no exceptions!) and bike and bags check-in is taking place in the afternoon. If you can, do not hesitate to come in Cannes from Friday so you can enjoy the TriStar atmosphere and get focused on your race, get your race documents, check-in your bike and familiarize yourself with the transition zone without stress.

Can an other athlete get my athletes package/ check-in my bike ?

Coming in person is much better but if you really can't, let a friend help you out.
He would need:

- A document authorizing him to do the bike check-in or registration on your behalf
- This waiver signed by you
- Your triathlon license
- In case you don't have a yearly license, he'll purchase a daily one on spot and will also need to have your recent medical certificate (less than 6 months old)

Is there a special offer for parking my car?

PARKING PANTIERO CCI:

Athletes: 5 euros (Saturday and Sunday showing your athlete wristband or race number - limited places available)

INTERPARKING:

Parking du Suquet – Forville and  Parking du Palais des Festivals :

Athletes : 5.50 euros (Saturday and Sunday showing your athlete wristband or race number)

Where can I park my camping car?

There are two possibilities to park your camping car for the night only (you must move the camping car in the morning): Boulevard de la Roubine on the Supermaket "Intermarché" parking in Cannes La Bocca or on the Supermaket "Casino" parking in Mandelieu.

You can also go to a camping with special camping car emplacements in Mandelieu: L'argentière or Les Cigales.

Is there something going on for my friends and family too?

Sure! On race day, your fans can cheer  you everywhere on the swim, the bike and the run course and of course the Finishline. The Star&Co Village, the Croisette, the Star Night, Cannes shopping, Cannes gambling, sightseeing... the fun is everywhere all along the week-end for you and for your fans.

For security and athletes comfort reason, the access to bike park, transitions area, Finishline and Relaxing Zone is only dedicated to Athletes (with your athlete’s bracelet). Your friend and family will have no access to those areas.

Do we start in waves? Is the Swimsuit allowed?

No, it is a mass start at 08:30 with Pro athletes ahead. The water temperature will be less than 20°C, so the swimsuit will be allowed for the race.

Is it possible to start as a relay?

Yes, you can start as a team with 3 athletes. It’s a lot of Fun. The Relay is your timing chip and you will cross the Finshline together to the Finish Picture! Start at 08:45.
