TriStar111 Lyon will take place on 15 July 2012 in Lyon. TriStar111 Lyon consists in 1km swim, 100km bike leg and 10km run. Triathletes and sport lovers will discover the historical city of Lyon!

START SWIM 1km
The Swim start will take place at 8:45 on the Quai du Professeur Paul Sédallian in Lyon for a 1km loop. It is a mass start from the Quai (PROs ahead). The water temperature is usually between 17 and 20 degrees Celsius on race day. Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24°C. The final decision will be made on race day morning by the marshals.
Transition 1 | SWIM/BIKE
After the swim, you will pick up your bike bag and change in the transition tent – both directly in the Stade Joseph Boucaud. Then run up to the BIKE parc, where you will pick up your bike and leave the bike park heading North.
BIKE 100km
The Bike course begins on the Quai du Commerce - you ride on the Quai of Saône in the direction of the north. Then turn right up on the road Gorges d’Enfer. During the 50km, you will discover gorgeous and picturesque villages. You have to do 2 loops for TriStar111.
Transition 2 | BIKE/RUN
Once you rack your bike you will pick up your RUN bag in the transition area. DROP OFF your bag after having changed and leave the transition area to start the last challenge: the run.
RUN 10km
The run will take you on 2 loops of 5km through Lyon, including the famous Quai de la Gare d’eau, the beautiful passerelle Saint-Vincent and the oldest bridge of Lyon, the Pont de Mazaryk. The entire run course is open to supporters! You'll love it!
FINISHLINE
After 2 loops, you will reach the Finishline located on the Quai Jaÿr, near the Star&Co village. Friends, family and sport loving spectators will welcome you and cheer you on while you cross the Finishline! Time to enjoy and proudly wear your Finisher medal!
AFTER FINISH
Grab your Finisher T-shirt, have drinks and food, get a massage, chill-out with your fellow competitors in the after-finish area. You finished the inaugural TriStar111 Lyon! Congratulations as you have proven: Yes, you can!

ENERGY STATION
Transition
At the end of the Transition 1 (after the Swim) and at the end of the Transition 2 (after the Bike), you will find some water and Energy Drink.
Energy Station Bike
The 50 km of bike have 2 Energy stations. You will do 2 times the 50km loop, so you will do 4 passages in front of one aid station.

Energy Station Run
2 Energy Station will be on the 5 km Run course.
Energy Station 3 : Pont du Maréchal Koenig
Energy Station 4 : 12 Quai Saint-Vincent

Drafting
Drafting is not allowed.
Drafting box is 3x7m.
