Why these distances?
TriStar distances are great fun - this means you will have fun racing, and a much quicker recovery period after the race than on other triathlon distances.
Why should I race TriStar Minnesota?
If you want to get to know Minnesota and combine it with a professionally organized triathlon race, then TriStar Minnesota is the perfect opportunity!
Can we start as a relay team?
Yes, you can! Relays are composed of three team members, a swimmer, a runner and a cyclist. Female, male and mixed teams are allowed. Your time chip is the baton for each team.
Can everyone participate in the TriStar111 Minnesota Team Relay Challenge?
Of course, the only condition is concerning the minimum age. The swimmer, cyclist and runner must be at least 16 years old by the 31 December 2011.
Where are the transition for the Relay Teams?
There is a Relay Area next to the Transition Tent. This area is where you will pass the timing chip from the swimmer to the cyclist and from the cyclist to the runner.
Where do we check in and where do we check out? (for the Cyclist ONLY)
Check in is at the Transition Area. Check in everything here. Check out is at the same Transition Area after the race, you will get everything here.
Where do we need to pick up our Start Pack?
You have to come on spot to pick up you Starter Pack (include the BIB Number) and your special Gift. All the members of the relay team need to come pick up their Starter Pack.
Do we need a triathlon license to participate?
Yes. If you don't have one, you will need to buy a daily license on spot at the Star&Co Village.
