How many participants will start?

1000 competitors are expected at the Starting Line for the first TriStar111 Monaco.

What are the distances of TriStar111 Monaco?

As the name says, the race will cover a total distance of 111km to be done as follows: 1km Swim,  100km Bike Leg and 10km Run.

How is the swim in the Mediterranean sea in September in Monaco?

The water quality is good and the temperature varies from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. Wetsuits are allowed if the temperature is below 24°C. The final decision is made on race day morning by the marshals.

Where can I park my car?

It’s very easy to park your car in Monaco as there is underground public parking everywhere, 2 underground parkings are located right underneath the Start and Expo/registration area.  It’s free the 1st hour, and up to about 5,50 euro for 24 hours.

I’m a beginner, can I sign up for the TriStar111 Monaco?

Yes you can! Absolutely! The short distance swim and run makes it very accessible. The bike is a little bit more challenging. The bike profile is as tough as the countryside you”ll pass by is breathtaking!

What about the bike course? Is it hard?

The bike circuit of the TriStar Monaco is technical and its profile is quite exigent. Some of the downhill can be dangerous, consequently, always keep to the right side of the road and respect the regular traffic law.

How the run course?

The run course is open to public, therefore, expect a lot of cheering! The profile of the 2 loops is 2/4 flat, 1/4 uphill, 1/4 downhill.

Should I arrive on Saturday?

Yes, in terms of registration, you must arrive in Monaco Saturday morning at the latest as athletes' registration closes at 13:00 (no exceptions!) and bike and bags check-in is taking place in the afternoon. If you can, do not hesitate to come into Monaco from Friday so you can enjoy the TriStar atmosphere and get focused on your race, get your race documents, check-in your bike and familiarise yourself with the transition zone without stress. On Saturday we also cordially invite you to the Energy Party.

Is there something going on for my friends and family too?

Sure! On race day, your fans can cheer for you everywhere on the swim, the bike, the run course and of course the Finishline. There is also the Expo Village, the Larvotto beach, the Energy party and Heroes Awards nights, Monaco shopping, Monaco gambling, sightseeing... the fun is everywhere all along the week-end for you and for your fans.

For security and athletes comfort reasons, access to the bike park, transitions area, Finishline and After Finishline is only dedicated to Athletes (with your athlete’s bracelet). Your friends and family will have no access to those areas.

Do we start in waves?

No, it is a mass start at 08:00 with Pro athletes ahead, on the Larvotto Beach (sand).

Is it possible to start as a relay?

Yes, you can start as a team with 3 athletes. It’s a lot of Fun. Your timing chip will be passed between each member of your team and you will cross the Finshline together for a Finishing Picture!
