Sportivement,

Sylvain Sudrie

Thanks to TriStar I was able to realize a dream that I kept buried for 20 years: to participate in a triathlon. I always thought it was not for me because of the swimming part but again, the organization was perfect. I am really happy with the result of my first triathlon. A new adventure is starting for me in this discipline. See you next year, with new ambitions and some sun ;-) (read more)

TriStar111 Lyon Podium

The first TriStar111 Lyon kept all the given promises: an exceptional starting list, thrilling race and generosity from the side of all participants.

Despite of the capricious weather that made the race in the bike leg much more difficult, the spectacle taking place in the town of lights glittered with beauty.

Sylvain Sudrie and Juliette Benedicto won the race!

There were more than 400 participants ready to fight within a 111 or 55.5 format, in Sunday’s French premiere of TriStar in Lyon. At 8:30, the competitors of 111 rushed into the water to start their 1km swim in the calm waters of the Saône river (22°C). Right from the beginning, Sylvain Sudrie revealed his intentions and took a place in the front positions to guide a group of swimmers consisting of Julien Coudert, Romain Guillaume, François Chabaud, Nicolas Fernandez, Brazilian triathlete Marcus Ornellas and the Briton Joel Jameson. When leaving the water, Sudrie was 20 seconds faster than Coudert and Guillaume, with Chabaud coming 1 minute after them. On the girls’ side, Juliette Benedicto dominated as she was one minute faster than her followers.
