TriStar Mallorca Bike course recognition!!!

Last bike recognition! To make your race easier and familiar on April 15th in TriStar Mallorca, next 19th of February we are organizing a recognition of the BIKE course with our Race Director Jaume Vicens, Portocolom Triatlón Club and a very special guest MARCEL WÜST, former Pro Cyclist ! You can bike one or two loops and also be in one of the two level groups: advanced and normal !

So, we'll be waiting for you next SUNDAY FEB 19th just in front of CLUB NAUTIC Restaurant in Portocolom at 8h45 am in good shape and a big smile ! Join us !

Summer starts early in 2012 with TriStar111 Mallorca in Portocolom

TriStar111 Mallorca 2011 The successful international triathlon will be held on 15 April, for the second time in Portocolom. The 2011 edition has been one of the best rated races by the triathletes.

On 15 April, Portocolom will again become the scenario of the early start of the summer for the European triathlon. The second edition comes after the huge success of 2011 which brought to Mallorca some of the best pro triathletes in the world and was highly appreciated by the participants. The TriStar55.5 and TriStar111 races will be accompanied by new alternative activities (race for children, Training Camps...) and the top ranked TriStar111 finishers will share a 10,000€ PRO cash purse.

More than 200 athletes had already signed up! (111 and 55.5 including)

Let's meet the contestants of TriStar111 Mallorca 2012 !

Winners of Mallorca 2011

10% of the registrants are women, one of them is Katharina Grohmann from Germany
Dzhamil Asfari from Moscow 40 years old, is among the average aged group, making it the biggest group for2012
Women in the race are much younger. Alison Ledger (AUS) one of the representativesthe average age which is 33.
Antoni Amengual Valls from Balearic Island is getting prepared for the race in Triatlo Porto Colom Herbes Tunel Club, the most represented club for 2012 edition.
Catalina Sampom (ESP) along with the other Spaniards are without any doubt the most represented nationality in the race followed by Germans in second place, Belgians and British share the 3rd place
Felix Fernandez Fernandez will be on the Starting Line for the second time! For one third of the participants this has been their second signing up
Hubert Quadflieg from Germany prefers to be cheered by his nickname "Hubi", like 50% of you, Hubi had chosen to have his bib number personalized! (applicable for all participants signed up at least one month before the race)

You can find out more about the TriStar111 Mallorca participants here, check if your friends had already signed up! If they did, post it on Facebook and be proud of them! If not, it's their lucky day! We have just extend the regular entry for one extra month to welcome them in the race too!

Tell them to sign up before January 15th! Or treat them for Christmas with a TriStar Voucher!

If among your friends you have some PRO athletes, the early offer is also valid for them and in addition they will have a Prize Money of 10.000€. That’s a good TriStar news for 2012!
