Eligibility of Participation:

TriStar111 Germany:

Athletes from 20 years old onwards are allowed to participate in the TriStar111 Germany race.

TriStar33.3 Worms Germany:

Athletes from 16 years old onwards are allowed to participate in the TriStar33.3 Worms Germany race.

TriStar111 Germany and TriStar33.3 Worms Germany:

Athletes require an official licence of one a national triathlon confederation. Alternatively one-day licences can be purchased on-site.
TriStar33.3 participants and TriStar111 relay participants do not need a licence.

No qualification is needed in order to participate in TriStar111 Germany or TriStar33.3 Worms Germany. You do not need to be member of a club.

You are not allowed to pass on your entry to anyone else. The organizer reserves the right to reject entries if deemed appropriate.

Relays:

Each relay consists of 3 athletes, a swimmer, a runner and a cyclist. Female, male and mixed teams are allowed. Your time chip is the baton for each team.

One Day Licence:

The One Day Licence costs € 16.00 and are to be paid at check-in. All prices include 19% VAT.

Costs for the Energy Night Party:

For all race participants of the TriStar111 the entrance is included in the registration fee.
Family and friends can buy tickets at the registration desk for € 15.00 including drinks.
Please mind: The carboloading party „Pfälzer Art“ will only be held on saturday june 09th, 2012.

Registration:

You can register online only via www.star-events.cc or www.activeglobal.com.
Minors (under 20 years) can not sign up for TriStar111.

Each participant must pick up his race pack personally. Individual starters need to possess and present a triathlon licence together with the national identy card at the registration desk or other controls by the organization- Participants without a valid triathlon licence need to buy a one day licence (€ 16.00). Each participant needs to accept and sign a the acceptance of the general conditions and a hold-harmless agreement during registration.

For non commencement of the race is not entitled to a refund of the entry fee.

Confirmation of registration:

Race slots will be allocated to the athletes upon receipt of payment and confirmed by the inclusion in the online start list.

Late Entires:

Late entries will be accepted until may 27th, 2012, if the race capacity is not full. The additional late entry fee is € 30.00.

Nutrition:

During and after the race athletes will be supplied with water, isotonic drinks and fruit.
No nutrition will be given on the TriStar33.3 bike course.

Certificates:

Certificates can be printed out directly after the race on a internet platform that will be announced later.

Registration:

For the output of race documents timely appearance according to the published schedule is required. Users who do not submit their original triathlon licence, can only start at TriStar111 Germany and be scored when they purchase a one day license.

Race regulations:

The events are based on the race regulations of the German Triathlon Union (Rules of Sport, organizers of Procedure, Anti-Doping Rules, judges order), and the law of procedure and the disciplinary rules. These can be viewed at www.dtu-info.de as well as the start document output.

With the registration athletes accept the race regulations. Additionally German traffic regulations (StVO/right side traffic) apply.
Anti-doping information can be found on www.nada-bonn.de.

Athletes briefing:

The TriStar111 Germany race briefing will be held during the Energy Night Party on Saturday June 9th, 2012 at 19:00.
It is mandatory for all TriStar111 athletes.

The TriStar33.3 Worms Germany race briefing will be held on Sunday before the race.

Drafting:

Drafting is not allowed. The drafting box is 3 x 10 m.

Race court:

Licensed Referees of DTU and RTV.

Arbitral court:

Will be announced on race day.

Helmets:

According to the DTU regulations it is mandatory to wear a helmet on the entire bike course.
It is mandatory to wear the swimcap during the swim part.

TriStar111 Germany Course:

Swim course

1000 meters in the raft harbour of Worms.
Wetsuits: Wearing a wetsuit and swimming cap is mandatory.
Following the procedure of the Rhineland-Palatinate Triathlon Federation there is a general ban on swimming suits (Speedsuit).

Bike course
100km through the beautiful Rheinhessen Wine country. T1 is centrally situated near the embankment. After changing into bike gear you will leave for a very scenic 1 loop 100km ride through the beautiful Rheinhessen wine country. The first 20km are nice and flat allowing you to easily find your pace. You will then enter the hilly area of the wine country with vineyards and picturesque villages along the course. Back into Worms you will be guided into T2, which is in the same spot as T1.

Run course
Off the bike into your running shoes you will head off to the final part of the race – a final 10km run. The track integrates the 2 millennia of history of Worms. Up out of the transition zone of the newly built bridge across the Rhine back into the historic old town. At the famous Cathedral Worms you reach the aid station and you can - very well supplied - focuw to the second half of the 1st round. Back in the transition area you start the second round and your family, friends and fans can cheer up one more time. Once up the enthusiasm has worn through the second round, you will return to the redesigned finish area on the Rhine. There you can celebrate yourself and enjoy an incredible moment on the final meters to the finish.

Transition zone:
There is only one transition zone.All athletes will receive a pre-race Streetwear bag which can be handed-in just before the swim start at the collection point and can be picked up after the race in the transition zone.For the walk between the transition zone and the swim start shoes are required.

TriStar33.3 Worms Germany Course:

Swim course

30km through the beautiful rhine valley. T1 is centrally situated near the embankment. After changing into bike gear you will leave for a flat 15km back-and-forth loop. Back into Worms you will be guided into T2, which is in the same spot as T1.

Run course
Off the bike into your running shoes you will head off to the final part of the race – a 1 loop 3km run. After leaving T2 you will cross the spectacular new Nibelungen-bridge over the Rhine, reach the turning point and head back to the event area and reach the finish line on the rhine.

Transition zone:
There is only one transition zone.
All athletes will receive a pre-race Streetwear bag which can be handed-in just before the swim start at the collection point and can be picked up after the race in the transition zone.
For the walk between the transition zone and the swim start shoes are required.

Timing:

Timing Chips will be provied by the organizers and collected after the race.

Medical Service:

Medical service will be available during and directly after the race by a race doctor or paramedic.
Sanitary facilities are available.

Security at the transition zone:

The transition zone is fenced. After the race bikes and race bags will be handed back only in exchange of the bike ticket.
Bikes can be picked up until one hour after the finish of the last athlete.
After that time all equipment will go to the race office.

Lost and Found:

All found items are collected in the race office on race day.

Disclaimer:

The organizers, their staff and assistants do assume liability for any kind of accidents, lost of equipment or other damage cases. With their registration athletes accept this disclaimer.
If the organizer needs to change or cancel the event due to force majeure or official orders, no liability for damages applies. Entry fees will be refunded less a € 40.00 charge.
The sports insurance excludes mutual liability claims. A private insurance is recommended to all athletes. The rules of the DTU and the road traffic rules must be observed.
The liability of the organizer or their agents is excluded for damages other than harm of life, body or health if it is not based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty of the organizer or his legal representative or agent. The organizer accepts no responsibility for kept items.
