1. Why should I race at the TriStar111 Germany?

If you plan to participate in one of the big long distance races this summer the TriStar111 Germany with it's 100k bike loop and the rather short run gives you the opportunity to check where you are in your overall preparation without to having  to worry about a to long regeneration phase.

2. Is the TriStar111 Germany suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Especially beginners will like the rather short swim leg in our unique natural swim stadium. And we have carefully selected a shorter running distance too.

3. Is it possible to start as a relay?

Yes, you can start as a team with 3 athletes.

4. Do we start in waves?

No. We will have a mass start at 08.00h in the raft harbour.

5. Where can I park my car?

You can directly park by the fairground where we will have a capacity for up to 1000 vehicles. By the fairground you’ll find the registration tent as well as both transition zones with the bike park. Additionally there is a camper parking and a camp ground next to the swim start.

6. Can you swim in the Rhine River?

Absolutely. We will have a great atmosphere in our natural ‘swim stadium’ in the calm waters of the raft harbour. A wetsuit is mandatory.

7. What about the bike course? Is it hard?

The bike course is nice and varied loop of 100k. The first 25k are flat then you’ll hit the hilly roads of the wine region. The bike course has an altitude difference of 490m.

8. Is the run course flat?

Yes, you will only encounter an incline when you cross the Nibelungen Bridge.

9. Shall I arrive on Saturday already?

Yes, an arrival on Saturday is advisable. You can get focused on your race, get your race documents, check-in your bike and familiarize yourself with the transition zone. On Saturday we will have the mandatory athletes’ briefing and cordially invite you to the Energy Party. Already on Friday you can join us for a special evening event for those of you who plan to spend their weekend in the region.

10. Is there something going on for my friends and family too?

Sure! After your fans have cheered you onto the swim course it is time for them to relax. We have a professional team of kindergarten teachers who offer a kids care program. We will also offer a special program for adults. More information will be available on this web site soon.
