Estonian pop band Noorkuu has released a music video for their new single "Spordilaul" ("Sports song") that is inspired by Tristar Estonia triathlon.
All Noorkuu members will also take part in Tristar Estonia that takes place from August 5th to August 7th at Pühajärve, Otepää. Rein Kahro from Noorkuu has a planned to participate in the longest of Tristar Estonia's events - the 111km race. The rest of the band members will be taking part in 33,3km distance race.
"We asked the band to create a song that introduces triathlon as a sport to a wider audience in a fun and simple way," said TriStar Estonia founder Ain-Alar Juhanson.
"Spordilaul" was publicly aired for the first time on ETV (Estonian National TV station) in a show called "Täär treenib tiarloniks" ("Täär is training for triathlon") that gives weekly overviews of actor Veikko Täär's preparations towards the Tristar event. Everyone can see the music video on YouTube at http://bit.ly/nileFy.
"Spordilaul" is composed by Anders Edenroth, the lyrics are written by Rein Kahro and the video is produced by Asko-Rome Altsoo.
