  1. Why should I race at the TriStar Estonia?
    If you plan to get to know an exotic place where you can also do what you like - participate in a good organized triathlon race – you have to do the TriStar Estonia.
  2. Is the TriStar Estonia suitable for beginners?
    Absolutely! Especially beginners will like the rather short swim leg. And we have carefully selected a shorter running distance too.
  3. Is it possible to start as a relay?
    Yes, you can start as a team with 2 or 3 athletes.
  4. Do we start in waves?
    No. We will have a mass start!
    On Saturday at 10:00 for TriStar11.1 athletes and at 15:00 for TriStar33.3 athletes. On Sunday at 11:00h for individual TriStar111 athletes and 11:11h for relay teams.
  5. Where can I park my car?
    You can park their car in the parking lot of Pühajärve Spa Hotel and the parking lot of Pühajärve beach. As the race goes along the Otepää- Sihva road, parking alongside it is not allowed.
  6. What about the bike course? Is it hard?
    The Bike course has a difficult profile, with big altitude differences! There will be 3 loops. TriStar33.3 athletes will make one loop.
  7. What is the run course like?
    The run course will be held in 1 out and back lap, goes by the light traffic road by the Pühajärve lake towards Sihva and back. Passing the transition area, the athletes will head in the direction of Pühajärve town, arrive via a hillier area to Kolga road and turn back to the race centre.
  8. Shall I arrive on Friday already?
    Yes, an arrival on Friday is advisable. You can get focused on your race, get your race documents, and familiarize yourself with the transition zone. You can join us on Friday - we have beneficary StarRun 5km and special evening event in Otepää Adventure Park.

  10. Are there any special tips?
    • Read regulations.
    • Be at the starting area 3 hours before start.
    • Check out the start area, water temperature and especially the transition area
    • Only the organizers of the race and race marshals are allowed to provide physical help to the athletes on the track, therefore think carefully beforehand, what you might need on the track (e.g. tyres, additional food and drink etc.).
