R+V is the „Fittest Company 2010“

Also in 2011, TriStar111 Germany is looking for the fittest company. Team spirit is vital - whether at work or in sport. That's why the organizers of TriStar111 Germany in Worms sought the fittest company of the year. And they've found it in R+V. "R + V is very open for the subject of sport," says amateur triathlete Andreas Bode of R+V who finished Tristar as individual competitor after 4:04 hours. Bode was one of seven R+V individual starters. These were joined by two participants in relays consisting of employees of R+V and Volksbank Worms Wonnegau, and another three individual participants of Volksbank Worms-Wonnegau.

"We were all pretty flat at the end, but the overall success of the teams and the results of the individuals made us celebrate in the nice summer weather. Next year we naturally want to defend the success," commented Heiko Braun, who, together with Bode, would like to start a R+V-Triathlon-sports team within the company. Already now there are common trainings, in Wiesbaden for example. And the award for the "Fittest Company 2010" at TriStar111 Germany is not the first sports award for R+V: 2009 a company team has already won the 25-hour run in the Wiesbaden Kurpark.

One thing is a done deal: "Next year we will certainly start in Worms again. The date is already booked," said Bode. Because also in 2011, the quest is on to find the Fittest Company at TriStar111 Germany on 29 May 2011.
